El cañón de Angón es el clásico próximo a Annecy. Situado en el borde del lago de Annecy se trata de un recorrido de renombre accesible a principiantes desenvueltos.
El descenso comienza más arriba, en la cascada de Angón (alto lugar turístico) con un rápel vertiginoso y húmedo.
Aún dos rápeles y un tobogán, y alcanzamos el recorrido de descubrimiento en el nivel del buzón de cartas: ¡un tobogán-sifón original y sorprendente!

Is it possible to avoid the first rappel of 40m which is the most impressive ?
No, this 115ft rappel is a mandatory section of Angon Performance. I will . If you feel hesitant, do not fret, your guide will help you down.
How to get to Angon from Annecy without a car ?
From Annecy:
- By Bus: line 61 Annecy Talloire Montmin. From Anney bus station to "Angon" stop. Journey time 40 minutes. More information about the schedules of this line. More informations Bus schedules.
- By bike: around 45 minutes on the bike path of the lake (take the East Shore Veyrier Lake). Bike rental "Roule Ma poule" possible.
How to decide between the Montmin and Angnon Performance?
We offer the Montmin canyon and Angon Performance at the same price and duration, but they are 2 different canyons:
- Montmin is a little further from Annecy than Angon. It's an aquatic canyon with lots of jumps and slides and only one 10m abseil.
- Angon performance is at the edge of Annecy Lake, it is a vertical canyon with many abseils and only a few jumps and slides.
Is the water in Angon cold ?
In terms of water temps, the Angon Canyon is moderate and includes small pools for swimming that are shallow and easy to exit.
If part of our group is doing the Performance route and part is doing the Discovery route, will be meetup at some point during the adventure?
No, the routes are separate and do not overlap…but great news, we’ll celebrate with a toast together at the end of our adventures!
