- What type of climbing activities do you offer?
- On cliff, we propose half day or full day activities, customized training on several half day or full day.
In indoor climbing gym, we propose individual climbing course, for 2 hours or more.
Courses are for beginners, training or performance. The content adressed is large, security,technical gestural, technical mental...
- At what age is it possible to take a climbing lesson?
- From 6 years on suitable outdoor sites and in climbing gym.
- How long does a climbing lesson take?
- It depends of the place of the activity:
Outside, we would take the half day (3h). Since 3 hours, it is possible for groups to do two lesson of 1h30, with a break; Nevertheless, nothing is unchangeable and we could adapt us at your demane.
In climbing gym, it is 1 hour session at 2 AM.
- What equipment is provided?
- Ropes, harnesses, helmets, and specific materials...
- What are the rates?
- All our rates are available on PDF document. For now, Contact us.
- Is there some prerequisite for Via Ferrata activity?
- No prerequisite are necessary. Many via ferrata are possibles and some of them are interesting for beginners and for a first experience.We propose evry level of difficulty

- Can we turn back on a via ferrata?
- Sometimes, yes. Routes are often equiped with way out.
These way out allowed a early exit in case of tired, or to avoid difficulties in the order to adapt the route for all level of people.
- Which material must we bring for this activity?
- We provide all the specific material. You juste need to bring sport shoes, a small bag with food and water inside. ( cereals or chocolat bars).
- How long does the activity take?
- 2 hours to the full day (6 hours), depends of the via ferrata you choose.

- Why is it necessary to take an instructor?
- The instructor or the guide is a guarantee of security. If you need to way out, the guide knows the route very well and knows how to avoid the difficulties. The pleasure of this activity will not be spoil by unprofessional mistakes.
- What is the material provide?
- We provide specific material as harness, helmet, longes via ferrata.
- We want to organize an familly activity including children. At what age is it possible to do via ferrata?
- It is possible to do via ferrata in familly with children.
From 8 years old, some of our routes are possible.

- What is the best time of the day for via ferrata?
- For Via ferrata, the moring is often the best choice.
Storm comes often in the end of the day during summer.So morning is the best.
- Which courses are the best for children?
- The half day courses are the best for children.
- What is course on rope?
- Unlike an adventure or a tree climbing course, the rope course is put in place for an event.We put the course for your need and your carateristics;
For exemple, for an event of collectivity, an administration could ask us to put a tyrolienne.After a half day of work, more than hundred children would try this activity. The course is take off at the end of the day.
For exemple, first part of the Bastille in Grenoble is great for an original course with abseil and tyrolienne, more than 100m.
- Who is concerned by the course of rope
- Everybody, works committee, student groups, municipality...
- What are the sites or area for?
- We are limited only by our imagination, the area with trees are naturally better for of large installation.
We can use already existing equipment as via ferratas, but also cliffs and buildings can be used.
- Is there a difference between via cordata and via corda?
- None, it the same thing.
- What is the best time in the day for canyoneering?
- Choose the morning has advantages:
There are less people in the morning in high season and it is less hot during the approach walks.There is also more availability of instructors.
- Is it obligatory to know how to swim to practice the activity?
- Canyoning does not impose longer time swimming, but there are obstacles to be overcome separated of short sections of swimming; the thick wetsuits are provided and float a lot.

- At what age can a children practice?
- Starting at 8 years
- What is made a discovery of canyoning descent?
- Jumps, natural slides, abseiling, tyrolean sometimes.For a first experience, a descent of 3 hours is perfect.
- Is it obligatory to jump?
- It's never obligatory to jump.
We always can get around, or abseiling, or slide the natural barrier
- What is the maximum height of jumps you can do?
- More than 8 m, jumps are dangerous for physical integrity with an important impact with water.
Some canyons allowed higher jumps but it is hard for the instructor to propose them. His responsability is engaged.
The instructor, once with the group, will propose or not some jumps, depends of the level.
- In the same group, some have already practiced and others never, it is problematic?
- The advantage of a canyoning descent is that everyone can express himself at his own level.
Some of you prefer abseiling, other, jumping or sliding...with the encouragement of the rest of the group.
Many options are possibles on the same descent for the pleasure of everyone.
- Is the water cold?
- The temperature is changing depending on the season.
Even in the canyons where the water is colder than other, the wetsuits and noeprene socks provided are high quality. Dressed with them, you would enjoy the activity without feeling cold.
- What equipement is provided?
- Wetsuit 5mm/7mm, in two pieces, neoprene socks 5mm, harness for canyoneering, helmet.
Waterproof containeers for food if you choose a canyon a day.
- What should we bring for the activity?
- For the activity, you must have:
swimsuit, shoes for walking in water ( not too small because neoprene socks are 5mm ). After activity, it is better to have change of clothes and towel.

- What are the accepted payment methods?
- On the spot, check, cach, holidays check ANCV, by sport tickets ANCV
CB accepted only in payment by internet on the secure website of La Caisse d'Epargne .
- Is it obligatory to book?
- Yes, because we don't guarantee place available.
- Must we booked in advance?
- Yes, in order to have a dispnibility maximum of our team, we need you to book as soon as possible; first arrived, first served!
- Do i pay a deposite to reserve?
- Yes, in order to finish your reserve, we ask you to pay a deposite of 30% of the total price.
After your reserve, it is very important to call the instructor if you cannot be at time at the meeting, even if it is only few minutes late.
- If the weather is bad, would i be refunded?
- Yes, if the instructor thinks that the weather does not allowed to practice, you will be refound in totality.
- What are the other causes of cancellation for a refund?
- If you have an unexpected problem, we will refund your payment.
Your leisure activities is our job, cancellations are not to be taken lightly.
- How can pay the deposit?
- Having obtained by mail or phone to book for Vertical Adventures on a date you want, you can pay the deposit of 30% of the online payment site for Vertical Aventure. I pay online Vertical Aventure Remember to specify in the optional fields of payment form your telephone number and the date of the planned activity.
- What are the cancellation conditions?
In our side:
We reserve to ourself the right of cancellation in case of problems or for security. If it is possible, we will book for you an other date.In your side:
1 month to 21 days before you booked day, 25%of the total price will be pay
From 20 days to days before, 50% will be pay.
1 week to 2 days before activity, 75% will be pay.
Less than 2 days before activity, the totality of the price must be pay.
- What are the gift cards you offer?
- We propose "gift" for canyoning and via ferrata.
- Is there diffent kind of gifts?
In Canyoning or Via Ferrata, you could choose between two level of gift:
• A "discover" gift
. This gift is a course dicovery.
The discovery gift cost 49 euros/person.• A performance gift
This gift is a more sports course, longer, more technical (higher abseils, very impressiv, higher jumps...);
The gift performance cost 69 euros / person.for exemple : Discovery course in via ferrat and canyoning

- I have a gift card, when can i use it?
- If you are alone, you will join at a group, because we do departure only at 4 people if weather allowed it.
- Are we insured for these activities?
- Yes, for Civil liability insurance instructor+client+ legal protection litigation:
Civil liability insurance, for all prerogative of monitor, insured also clients in civil liability (damage to third) during the activity, insure also training and trading of the equipment.
This is about obligatory Civil liability client (if one client hurts an other one or the monitor, during activity) We don't insure you individually for accident(if you hurts yourself alone).
- Where does the via ferrata course take place ?
- The via ferrata in Chartreuse are very close to Grenoble, Lyon, Chambéry and Aix les Bains

- Where are the canyons of Vertical Aventure?
- The canyons in the mountains of Chartreuse and Vercors are close to Grenoble, Chambéry, Lyon and Aix les Bains. The canyons in the Bauges Mountains are close to Annecy and Chambéry, some of them are close to the Lake.

- How can we met before activity?
- The "rendez vous" is directly fixed with the monitor at the begining of the activity.
When you book, a link to googlemap is sending to you, with your monitor's phone number. You could check your own way and contact the monitor in case of any problem.
- Must we go to a local or a office before activity?
- No, the "rendez vous" is at the start of the activity with the monitor.
When you booke, a googlemap link will be send to you by mail. Into this e mail, you will have also the phone number of your monitor. In case of delate, call him, please.
- Is it possible to organise share transportation in order to go to the rendez vous place?
- No, however, it is possible to share our car between clients.
- Is there some photographies of the activities?
- Yes, the monitor has a camera, no need to bring yours during the activity. For sure, you ll need your two hands!
- Is it necessary to pay an extra for the photographies?
- No, it is free.
- Where can i find the photographies?
- Since 2011, you could finf the photographies Vertical Aventure on : Page de téléchargement des photos sur Vertical aventure le blog After the activity, you will have 1 month to download them.

Canyoneering and Via Ferrata
Canyoneering and Via Ferrata are activities very adapted for outdoor stag party for yourself or for a friend. During a week end, with a group, you can enjoy our activities near Grenoble, Lyon and Annecy. Change the wedding dress with a neoprene suit. Jumps, Natural Slides, Abseils, between on of the big jump of life!
